It is fascinating how many words there are for basically 2 styles of sleeping garments.  Are you ready?

Like everything, we have a choice on what we purchase, no one forces you into buying something you consider to be too expensive.

Traditional? Yes it is, but still meaningful and special is that dressing gown and matching night gown on Mother's Day. 

if I could virtually grab you a proper cup of tea, served in a proper cup and saucer with a bickie on the side, I would !

These brilliant 'gowns' since the dawn of history have given us the those swooning, graceful images that come to mind when we think of the Royal Family flopping into bed or the Downtown Abbey ladies and Bridgerton folk swanning around their boudoir's.
